High Energy Lithium-Ion Batteries

The advances in lithium-ion battery technology over the last ten years have enabled the dream of performance electric vehicles. Lithium-ion batteries today carry three times more energy at half the cost of batteries from ten years ago. For the Mission One, we took the best lithium-ion batteries available and packaged them with our proprietary battery cooling and management technologies. Our advanced battery pack gives the rider the power to accelerate to 150 mph, the energy to go 150 miles on a charge, and the assurance that their battery will perform safely and reliably for thousands of miles.

Performance Electric Motor

Imagine being able to wheelie from a standstill without using the clutch. Imagine that same torque at 70 mph without ever having to shift. The torque curve of the Mission One motor redefines the motorcycle riding experience. Gasoline sportbike engines require six gears to perform. Our performance induction motor needs one. 100 foot-pounds of torque, all in a package the size of a soccer ball.

Regenerative Braking

The Mission One recaptures the kinetic energy of the motorcycle during braking and turns it into electrical energy stored in the batteries. By recapturing energy, the Mission One goes further on a single charge. The Mission One also allows riders to tune their regenerative braking to fit with their riding style.

Recharge Anywhere

The Mission One's onboard charger allows riders to recharge from any standard wall socket. Recharging from empty to full takes 2.5 hours off of a 220V outlet (8 hours off of a 110V). In California, which has the 11th highest electricity prices in the US, "filling up" your bike only costs you $1.96.

Real Time Data Acquisition

The Mission One's data acquisition feature allows riders to capture ride data in real time. Riders can record ride data, such as speed, location, or lean angle; or bike data, such as motor current, battery voltage, or efficiency. Riders can take that data to their computer to analyze their performance, brag to other riders, or prepare for their next ride.

Rider Controls

The Mission One's vehicle control system will give riders a new level of control over their ride. The Mission One software interface will allow riders to adjust throttle maps, adjust regenerative braking, set power limits, and pre-set multiple riding modes.

Wireless Enabled

The Mission One is fully wireless enabled and will introduce riders to a new way of connecting to their motorcycle. When working on the bike, a Mission One rider will use a computer more often than a wrench. Riders will be able to download ride data, check bike status, and update bike settings in a matter of seconds through a seamless wireless user interface.
